Hi Brooke, thanks for sharing. It has been on the Chinese media all over the place as well. Sad indeed, but as an old Chinese saying goes, "food" is heaven for "people", with economic interest in view, all the heritage buildings are simply obstacles for them to get rich, or "developed"...
